To replace the battery of the key remote for an Audi A4 car, you will not need any special tools other than a new battery. Take the remote and press the button on it to release the metal key inside, then pull it outwards to remove it. Use the end of the key to leverage in the empty slot and open the shell. Remove the old battery and insert the new one; reassemble the two shell units by pressing them until you hear a click, finally, insert the metal key that was previously removed.
