Replacement of the control arm of the Audi A6 MK2

To replace the control arm of the Audi A6, loosen the nuts of the front wheel and lift the car with a bridge; finish unscrewing the nuts and remove the wheel. With a brush and spray cleaner, clean the fastening nuts of the control arm and unscrew them, starting from the ball joint for which we will also need an extractor. To remove the rear fixing screw, you need to remove the side cover; insert the new control arm and fix it using new bolts, to tighten the ball joint use a hydraulic lifter. Finish tightening the bolts using a torque wrench at 65Nm for the joint and 85Nm for the rear attachment, put the wheel back on and repeat the operations on the other side.
