How to replace the dead battery in an Audi A4 remote? Follow these steps: Take your remote and detach the metal part on the side. Next, press the two ends of the plastic casing (as shown in the video) and pull out the battery holder.

Remove the dead battery using a small screwdriver, then take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the battery holder into the cover of your remote by pressing until it clicks into place.

Attach the metal piece with the logo as shown in the video. Check that the remote works properly by pressing the buttons.
