How to repair the window of a 2005 Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013
Part: Checks and maintenance

To carry out this repair, we first need to get a new window lifter, which we can find, for example, on tratostrade. It is code 247-0628-R-1149 at a price of 19.18 euros, plus 6.49 euros for delivery. We will then need to remove the inner panel of the door. By removing the screws, which are located behind the internal lock, inside the handle, and at the bottom of the panel. When we remove the panel, we pay attention to the electrical connectors; however, we also need to remove the intermediate panel to access the window lifter, and we will do this by removing the screws located within the thickness of the door. Disconnect the motor connector and the motor itself. Remove the glass with its frame to prevent it from falling on our head and dismantle the damaged window lifter, replacing it with the new one. Put it back in place and start putting the various pieces back in place, starting with the motor, connectors, the intermediate panel, and then the trim panel, also with its connectors. It is a job that requires precision, but it is not difficult. Take pictures to remember how the various pieces were arranged, and we will surely succeed.
