How to reset the service indicator light on the Audi A2

Let's see how to reset the service light on an Audi A2: insert the key into the ignition without starting the engine. Below the tachometer dial, we will find a small black button: we must press it and hold it firmly. After a few moments, on the display located between the tachometer and the speedometer, the message "service" (for oil change) or "INSP" (for inspection) followed by the message "in xxx km" should appear, or a series of dashes if we have done the service after the deadline. We will see the message change showing the new expected mileage interval, and we will see the service light turn off. We can also turn off the ignition.
