How to replace the hood release cable of the Audi A6.
Model: Audi A6
MK 1, C4
- Years 1994-1997
Today we will explain how to replace the hood release cable on a 1990 Audi A6. To open the hood in case it doesn't open from inside the vehicle, we need to insert a hook into the front grille between the rubber seal and the cable to unlock the internal hood lever and open it. Let's proceed with the cable replacement: disconnect the cable from the first clip by loosening the coolant reservoir, remove the second seal, and slowly pull out the cable. Slide the new cable in, securing the clips. As we insert it, we pass the cable through the first cabin and then along the steering column, connecting it to the internal release handle. Reposition the coolant reservoir and secure the cable with the original clips; attach the clamp and test the cable's functionality by opening the hood.

How to Remove the Centre Console on a Renault Kangoo
To remove the centre console on a Renault Kangoo, use a plastic lever to pry off the trim located at the bottom of the centre console. Remove the leather gaiter from the gear lever. After removing the gaiter, unscrew the securing screw located at the rear of the centre console (if present). Once this is done, pull the console away and disconnect any power cables. Finally, insert the new part into the centre console space and reassemble all components as they were removed. by ScegliAuto More videos
