How to reset the Service light on the Audi A3?

Model: Audi A3 8V, MK 3 - Years 2012-2019

From the Audi A3 instrument cluster, you can completely turn off the Service light by switching on the ignition and pressing the appropriate button: this will give you access to the menu on the central display of the instrument cluster. Navigate to select the option "Vehicle Information": the next option to select will be "Service Intervals". This will bring up another screen, where you will find the option "Reset Oil Change Interval": choosing this option and confirming with "Yes" will turn off the Oil Change warning light from the instrument cluster.
