You can completely clear the Service light indicated on the instrument panel of the Audi A3 by activating the instrument panel, turning the appropriate key in the ignition switch, and then locating the maintenance option by turning the dial on the right side of the display. Once this option is found, press and hold the button for a few seconds until the miles and days remaining until the next maintenance are reset. This will allow you to turn off and turn on the instrument panel, verifying that the Service light has been cleared.
