How to Reset the Service Light on an Audi A6?

Model: Audi A6 MK 2, C5 - Years 1997-2004

To clear the service light on an Audi A6, use the two buttons on the instrument cluster. After replacing the oil filter and the related filter, if you did this yourself, immediately proceed to reset the service interval counter. How to do it? Press and hold the button next to the odometer while turning on the instrument cluster. Release the button and then press the button next to the tachometer, waiting for the warning to turn off. To confirm this, turn off and then turn on the instrument cluster again.

Locate the inspection cap of the headlamp (at the rear of the headlamp) and remove it.
