How do you reset the Service light on the Audi A6?

In order to reset the Service light of the Audi A6, you must turn on the instrument panel and then start the engine, inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch and pressing the appropriate button. At this point, you can proceed by pressing the CAR button located on the center console of the vehicle: this will display a message on the central display asking if you really want to reset the maintenance interval. Selecting "Yes" will make the Service light disappear completely from the instrument panel, and you can then turn it off.
