The replacement of the engine oil and the relative filter is the typical do-it-yourself maintenance but it is recommended to take care to dispose of the used oil in specialized collection centers; to facilitate this maintenance it is suggested to lift the car on a bridge in order to easily reach the sump and the filter; then place a pan to collect the oil and unscrew the drain plug located on the side of the sump; once the drain is complete, screw the cap back on and replace the filter using a socket wrench or a clamp; sprinkle the gasket of the new filter with oil and screw it into its seat without tightening too much; finally fill the engine with clean oil up to the maximum level.
