- Years 2014-2023 Replacing the battery in the Audi ignition key is a very simple operation that takes no more than 5 minutes. As the video demonstrates: by pressing the sides of the plastic key block, the metal key can be extracted, after which it is possible to access the battery compartment of the ignition key remote control, very carefully and gently, the housing of the battery compartment, with an oscillating movement so as to make it come out of the slides.
