Learn how to reset the service light on a 2007 Audi A3 8P. Switch on the ignition without starting the engine: initiate the oil reset; pull towards you and hold the right button (the one for resetting the trip odometer). After 3 to 5 seconds, the display will show "service oil" or simply "service". Release the button. Within 5 seconds of releasing, pull the right button again and hold it. After a few seconds, the message will change to "---" or "service in xxx". At this point, you can release the button; the oil change has been reset.
