Removing the Center Armrest on Audi A4

If the armrest is damaged, replace it with a new one. Enter the cabin and grab the armrest by the top where the fabric is located. Disconnect it and lift it into a vertical position. Use your hands to squeeze the two plastic brackets that allow the armrest to slide up and down. Apply pressure until you release the plastic clips from inside the glove compartment. Once the brackets are released, you can remove the piece. Install the new piece by attaching the brackets to both ends of the glove compartment (tighten them without breaking).
