Removal of Rear Glass on Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 Sportback MK 2 - Years 2003-2013

To remove the rear glass, first remove the door panel. The first screw is located just below the armrest, at the height of the window lift button. Then, remove the cover cap in the centre of the panel to unscrew the other fastening screws and release the clips along the edge. Complete the disassembly by disconnecting the connectors and the cable of the opening handle. At this point, remove the rubber cap, connect the window lift button temporarily, and lower it until you reach the fastening claws that need to be opened to release the glass. Finally, to extract it, remove the seals along the door pillar, both inside and outside.
