How to Install the Tow Bar on the Audi A3 Sportback

Model: Audi A3 Sportback MK 2 - Years 2003-2013

To install the tow bar on an Audi A3 Sportback, start by removing the rear lights (outer lights), then remove the rear bumper and the rear longitudinal beam. Refit the new rear longitudinal beam designed for the tow bar, reattach the bumper with the slot for the tow bar, and reassemble the outer rear lights. Insert the tow bar fitting into the rear beam, remove the cap, insert the tow bar until the mechanism clicks, and turn the key clockwise to lock the tow bar. To remove just the tow bar, turn the key counterclockwise to unlock it, turn the lever, and take out the tow bar.
