First, take the remote in hand and press the button on the back to remove the physical key from the remote; then, pull out the battery holder found inside, as shown in the video.

At this point, replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); refit it into the battery holder, ensuring it is inserted the right way.
