Replacing the Remote Battery on an Audi A3

Need to replace the battery in your Audi A3 key? Let’s look at how to replace the battery. Take your remote key and, using a screwdriver, pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover. Once the key is open, remove the worn battery: take a new one of the same size and voltage and secure it inside the plastic. Reassemble the cover on your remote by pressing on the key cover until you hear it click into place. Check the proper functioning of the Audi remote key with the lock and unlock buttons.
