How to replace the key fob battery of an Audi A3? Here’s how to do it: take your key fob and press the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, remove the battery holder (as shown in the video). Take out the flat battery from the holder (after separating the two halves of the cover), and get a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the plastic battery holder into the key fob cover, and finally, insert the metal key back into the cover. Check the proper functioning of the key fob using the door unlock buttons.
