Replacing the air filter on an Audi A6? Let's go through the replacement process. Lift the hood and secure it with the prop rod. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then detach the air intake hose clamp (unscrew the securing screws), uncover the air box, and pull out the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (making sure it fits snugly against the walls). Reinstall the air box cover and tighten the screws on the clamp above the air hose and the engine cover panel. Close the hood after finishing the disassembly.
