Remove the roof panel of an Audi A6? Start by taking off all the plastic parts to access the panel. Remove the sun visors and the overhead lighting assembly located in the panel. Take off the A-pillars on the sides of the A6's frame. Once everything is removed, detach the headliner around the perimeter of the car's roof. When the panel is free from clips, you can pull it out of the vehicle. Be careful when pulling it out to avoid damaging it. Repair the old headliner or replace it with a new one.
