How to Replace the Rear Light Bulb on an Audi A6

Model: Audi A6 MK 3, C6 - Years 2004-2012

Before you begin, open the trunk of your Audi A6. Start by removing the inner cover located on the side of the trunk area. Next, unscrew and remove the mounting bolt of the light, and you will have freed the light itself. Proceed by pulling the light out of its housing. At this point, disconnect and remove the socket, and you will reach the burnt-out bulb. Once you complete this step, disconnect and remove the bulb, and you will have successfully finished the disassembly. To install the new bulb and reassemble the light, just repeat these instructions in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
