Removing the Speedometer on Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013

First, pull the lever under the steering wheel to free the steering wheel, then lower it and pull it towards the driver's seat as much as possible, finally reposition the lever. Remove the plastic cover beneath the speedometer by simply pulling it off by hand. Now unscrew the two screws you just uncovered (still under the speedometer). Done! With these simple steps, you have freed the speedometer, which you can now remove by pulling it out by hand and disconnecting the rear connectors. That's it. For installing a new speedometer, simply reverse the process. Cheers!
