To reset the service light on the Audi A3 8P, start by turning on the instrument cluster. Take the button on the right of the speedometer, lift it, and note the mileage for the service; when the mileage appears, press and hold the button on the right of the speedometer until dashes appear on both the mileage and days. When the dashes appear, wait a few seconds and turn off the instrument cluster. Finally, turn the instrument cluster back on, take the button on the right of the speedometer, lift it, and check that the new mileage (for the next oil change) is displayed.
