How to replace the driver's door lock on the Audi A4 B8

The guide shows how to replace the door lock of the Audi A4 B8. The first operation to perform is to disassemble the finish plate of the handle using two plastic levers; at this point it is possible to remove the plastic shell placed under the armrest. Using a wrench, remove the panel fixing bolts in order to remove it from the door; in this operation it is necessary to remove the plastic clips. Disconnect the electrical and handle cables and move the panel. Remove the plastic panel that allows access to the inside of the door and, from the side of the same, remove the fixing screw of the lock. Remove the lock pawl and the external handle. Unscrew the fixing screws of the lock block and remove it; disconnect the power supply cable and the internal handle cable. Replace it with a new lock and retighten the removed screws. At this point just follow the steps performed in order to reassemble all the disassembled parts. Check the correct functioning of the lock before taking the road.
