To replace the door lock on an Audi A4, use a tool to pry off the trim pieces at the top and middle of the door panel. Once these trim pieces are removed, you can loosen the screws underneath to take off the panel.

The lock can now be freed from its mounting screws and connectors. At this point, insert the new lock into its place, secure it, and reinstall the door panel.
