How to Reprogram an Audi A4 Key

To reprogram an Audi A4 key, insert a working key into the ignition and turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine. Exit the vehicle and close the driver door. Insert the second key into the door lock and turn it to the locked position. Press the unlock button on the remote and wait a few seconds. Then turn the key to the unlocked position to complete the synchronization. Remove the key from the lock and turn off the ignition. Test the remote to ensure that the central locking works correctly.
