To replace the door lock on an Audi A4, completely remove the door panel after unscrewing the mounting screws. Once these are removed, you can access the underlying components and loosen the screws that secure the lock from the inside. Next, disconnect the power cables and remove the side screw to fully pull out the door lock and replace it with a new part. After the replacement, reassemble all the removed components.
