To replace the door lock on an Audi A4, remove the two trim pieces on the panel, under the armrest and next to the inner handle. Once the trim pieces are removed, loosen the screws underneath and detach the panel.

After disconnecting the other connectors, you can move the inner panel and loosen the bolts located at the end of the door, allowing the lock to be extracted from the inside. After removal, replace it with a new part that must be connected to the connectors and secured with the bolts.
