Replacing the remote battery on an Audi A4 B8 is very simple. First, you need a replacement battery, model CR2032, 3V. Take the remote and remove the metal key by pressing the small button on the back. Hold the remote with one hand on the body and the other on the end just freed from the metal key, and pull. You may need to apply considerable force if the key is old and has never been opened before. Once the part with the battery is extracted, simply replace it, ensuring correct polarity.
