Disassembly of the car radio on the Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013
Part: Car stereo

In this short video we show you how to take out the stereo / car radio on Audi A3 and the like. To extract the lower plate of the car radio you must, first of all, get the two keys to insert into the corner holes of the same. Insert the aforementioned keys as far as they will go and, once done with both, pull them out by extracting the stereo itself. In this way you will also extract the part where the cd is to be inserted (cd player). Proceed from bottom to top to continue disassembling the central dashboard: to do this, disassemble the upper protective plastics and unscrew the screws below.

How to Remove the Cabin Fan Resistor on a Mercedes A-Class W169

If the cabin fan speed does not change when adjusted or only activates at maximum speed, the fan resistor may be damaged. Replacing it is fairly easy, and the part is readily available. The resistor is located right behind the center console, but you can access it by removing the trim panel directly below the steering column and then detaching the side cover of the tunnel. At this point, you can easily reach the resistor and its power connector; just pull it out of its housing to replace it.
