How to Replace the Rear Brake Light Bulb on an Audi A3

Before you can start, open the rear boot lid. Begin by removing the cap near the headlamp by simply prising it off. Once removed, you will uncover an internal bolt, which you will need to unscrew. After unscrewing this bolt, detach the headlamp from its housing, using a thin but sturdy tool for assistance. Before completely removing the headlamp, disconnect the rear connector. At this point, you will be able to work on the back of the lamp. Proceed to remove the bulb holder by unscrewing the two plastic screws at the back. Once the bulb holder is removed, you can take out the blown bulb. To fit the new bulb and close everything up, follow the instructions in reverse, and you will have successfully completed the replacement.
