Different adjustments of the car's suspension can lead to varying results: a stiffer front setup will make the car more precise and aggressive, while a softer setup will allow for easier steering recovery. A stiffer rear setup will counteract oversteer and provide a more stable car during direction changes, while a softer setup will promote oversteer. Therefore, the more you stiffen the adjustments, the more responsive the car will become, but with reduced grip regarding extension both front and rear. For front compression adjustment: the stiffer it gets, the more responsive it becomes, but it will be harder to recover after a skid, while the rear will become more stable at high speeds, neutralizing fishtails; softening it will neutralize understeer. Of course, once the various adjustments are made, the car should be tested on the road.

How to Reset the Central Locking of the Volkswagen Golf 4?

If the central locking system of the Volkswagen Golf 4 is not working, it is likely necessary to reset the system: to do this, open the driver's door and detach the side panel of the dashboard next to the steering wheel. Under this panel, you will find the fuses, including the one for the central locking, which is indicated in the manual as number 14. To reset the system, remove this fuse from its housing, then reinsert it or replace it with a new one of the same amperage: this will reset the central locking system.
