How to Remove the EGR Valve in the Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013

Remove the plastic protective cover. Disconnect the power connector. Now, using a T40 socket, unscrew the EGR valve's connecting pipe. Unscrew the three 10 mm bolts on the collectors in the same manner. To make it easier, you can remove the intercooler pipe. Now, using a screwdriver, lift the tab and pull out the pipe. Also, loosen the bolt at the back. Now extract the EGR valve and proceed with cleaning. If stuck, apply pressure to free it and check if it remains under tension. Now you can proceed with reassembly by following the steps in reverse.
