To replace the battery in an Audi A4 B8, open the trunk to access the cargo area. Lift the carpet that serves as a base to reach the components underneath.

By removing the spare tire, you will locate the battery underneath it. Unscrew the mounting bolts and disconnect the power cables to remove the old battery from its housing and insert the new one. After the replacement, reassemble all the removed parts.
