Replacing the battery in the Audi A3 is very straightforward. For this operation, in addition to a suitable replacement battery, you will need a 10mm socket wrench. First, ensure the key is not in the ignition, then open the bonnet and disconnect both terminals by loosening the two nuts with the 10mm wrench, starting with the negative terminal. Once done, unscrew the bolt of the mounting bracket on the left, remove the old battery, and fit the new one by reversing the procedure.
