To replace the courtesy lights on an Audi A4, loosen the screws that secure the light assembly to its housing, located on the ceiling just behind the rearview mirror. Once the screws are loosened, detach the light assembly from its housing so that the bulbs inside can be disconnected from the connectors and replaced with new replacement parts. After the new bulbs are installed, reposition the light assembly and secure it with its screws.
