In this brief and simple guide, learn how to rebuild and restore the stock alternator of the Audi A4 2.7L. First, remove the alternator and place it on the workbench. Next, loosen the mounting screws of the rear housing of the alternator to access the coil and brushes, as shown in the video.

At this point, check the wear condition of the magnets and windings, replacing the alternator if damaged. Clean everything with appropriate degreasers and then reassemble it by following the reverse procedure!
