In this tutorial, see how to replace the fuel flap actuator on an Audi A3 8v. This is a very simple operation; you will need a screwdriver and some trim removal tools. First, insert the trim tools into the joint between the fuel filler neck frame and the bodywork, and try to unlock it. Once done, temporarily remove the fuel cap to extract the frame and reinsert it once finished. Unscrew the rear screws of the actuator, insert the replacement, test it, and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
