How do you replace the exterior mirror on the Audi A6?

In order to replace the exterior rearview mirror of the Audi A6 you need to pry under the glass, so that it can be removed from the inside of the shell by unhooking the clips below. After the mirror glass has been removed, it will be possible to unscrew the screws located under it, in order to free the cap from its support. By also disconnecting the connectors connected to the lateral arrow inserted in the shell, it will be possible to remove it completely, so that it can be replaced; finally, you can also insert the new mirror glass.

First, use a plastic lever to remove the side cover of the radio (the air vents), then, with a screwdriver, unscrew the securing screws located on the sides (if present).
