To replace the outside rearview mirror on an Audi A6, pry under the glass to remove it from the housing by disengaging the clips underneath. Once the mirror glass is removed, unscrew the screws located beneath it to free the housing from its support. By also disconnecting the connectors attached to the turn signal in the housing, you can completely remove it for replacement. Finally, insert the new mirror glass.
