To replace the battery on an Audi A2, lift the rear hatch to access the boot. Here, you can lift the carpet that serves as flooring and then open the underlying cover that protects the battery.

The battery must be extracted from its housing after loosening the securing bolts and disconnecting the terminals. After the old battery is removed, insert a new one by connecting it to the terminals and securing it with its bolts; finally, close everything with the cover and the carpet.
