To replace the remote battery on an Audi A3, press the button located on the chrome part of the remote to extract the key from its housing. Once the old key is removed, extract the tray containing the battery, which was previously covered by the chrome. When this is removed, replace the battery with a new spare part: after the new battery is installed, reinsert the tray and cover it by inserting the key and its chrome.
