How do I replace the Audi A3 diesel filter?

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013
Part: Diesel fuel filter

In order to replace the Audi A3 diesel filter, you need to open the hood so that you can access the engine compartment. The diesel filter will in fact be inside it, at the bottom left of the engine block. In order to remove the filter from its housing, it will be necessary to disconnect the fixing bolts and the fuel pipes. In this way, the old filter can be removed and replaced with a new one; once this has been screwed in and connected to the fuel lines, the hood can be closed.
