To replace the front headlamp bulb on an Audi A3, lift the car and loosen the bolts securing the front wheel on the same side as the bulb to be replaced. Once the wheel is removed, unscrew the bolts holding the inner wheel arch cover and completely remove it to access the inside of the headlamp.

From here, pull the bulb out of its housing by disconnecting it from its connector. Connect the new bulb to the connector, insert it into the headlamp, and refit all previously removed components.
