In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the remote battery on an Audi A3 by following simple steps that will guide you through the proper maintenance of your car. To open the remote key, you will need a small flat-head screwdriver and a CR2032 flat battery (the battery commonly used in car remotes). To open the cover, first, press the button to open the metal key. You will notice a small tab; this tab is used to open the cover. On the back, there is a small slot where you can insert the screwdriver with slight pressure. Once opened, replace the old battery with a new one and close the cover.
