Fuel Pump Disassembly Instructions

The fuel pump is located under the rear seat: first, remove the seat and clean the pump area to prevent dirt from entering the tank. Then proceed with disassembly; disconnect the connector and remove the hose clamps to pull them off. Mark the position of the pump before unscrewing the retaining ring.

Once the ring is removed, pull off the gasket, disconnect hoses and connectors from the upper flange, and use the appropriate tool to engage and rotate the pump to extract it from the tank. If you do not have this tool, it is recommended to have the repair done at a specialized shop.
