Is the fuel pump on your Audi A4 damaged? Here’s how to remove it. Start by removing the rear seats to access the fuel pump. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the fastening screws of the metal cap, then remove it from its place.

Use absorbent paper around the perimeter to soak up any liquid leaks. Use a chisel to unscrew the large fastening bolt of the fuel pump, then disconnect the power connectors and the fuel return hoses.

Extract the floating fuel pump from inside the Audi's tank. Install the new fuel pump.
