Replacing Rear Headlight Bulb

Model: Audi A6 C6, MK 3 - Years 2004-2012

To replace the rear headlight bulb, you need to remove the headlight itself, but the operation is very simple and quick. Once you open the trunk, disconnect the inner cover of the tool compartment and access the hole to reach the headlight mounting pin. Insert a flathead screwdriver or a 10 mm socket wrench into the hole and unscrew the headlight mounting pin. Then, detach it from its housing and pull it forward to disconnect the bulb holder. At this point, you can replace the bulbs (bayonet type) and reverse the steps for reassembly.
