How to Replace the CV Joint on the Audi A6

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the CV joint on the Audi A6. The first step is to loosen the bolts on the front wheel rim. Next, lift your car, preferably using a lift. Once the car is lifted, continue to remove the wheel. After removing the wheel, take off the brake rotor. Clean any debris with a wire brush and use a lubricant spray; unscrew the fastening elements of the upper arm. Disconnect the driveshaft from the knuckle. Install the retaining ring for the CV joint. Now you can install the boot on the CV joint and tighten the fastening bolt for the steering knuckle.
